Something for Everyone

Today we celebrate National Volunteer Week, a week-long celebration and appreciation of the diverse contributions volunteers give to make this world a better place.

It’s an opportunity to celebrate and thank all the volunteers who play a vital role in bringing people together, building communities and creating a better society for everyone. Their collective efforts ensure that, together, we can make a lasting impact in our communities.

This year let’s acknowledge and celebrate the valuable contributions of Australia’s Community Champions!

At OzChild, we are incredibly grateful for all our volunteers, from our dedicated volunteer carers, youth mentors and Lead Tenant mentors who offer their time, love and their home to provide care for children and young people, to our amazing Op Shop volunteers who work tirelessly and dedicate their time and effort to run our Op Shop, creating a welcoming space for everyone as they go.

In line with this year’s theme, Something for Everyone, we honour the unique skills, passions, talents and experience each volunteer brings to OzChild. Your hard work and commitment truly make a difference in the lives of children and young people, and we thank you for being an essential part of the OzChild family.

Together, we are stronger, and together, we are making a real difference in the lives of those who need it the most.
