National Volunteer Week 2022

‘We are, Better Together’

This week we celebrate National Volunteer Week, which is held from 16 – 22 May.

National Volunteer Week is a time to celebrate and appreciate the hard work volunteers do.

It is a time to publicly thank all the volunteers who are a vital part of society that brings people together, builds communities and creates a better society for everyone. Their work ensures that together we can make a difference in our communities.

This year let’s recognise and celebrate the valuable contribution of Australia’s Volunteers!

At OzChild we are extremely grateful to all our volunteers. OzChild carers who generously offer their time and love to give care to children and young people and our Op Shop team who volunteer to run the Op Shop. We thank you all for your hard work to make a difference in the lives of children and young people.

Show your appreciation this National Volunteer Week by taking a photo of yourself with a smiley face on your palm and uploading it to social media with #WaveForVolunteers and #NVW2022
